Cordless Power Tools

Ryobi cordless tools have given us another gem with the Ryobi P232. Part of their new bright green tool line the p232 is a cordless impact driver with bite. The model is tailor made for the new Ryobi 1+ LithIon 18 volt batteries, but if you have any NiCad batteries still hanging around, go ahead and use them it is fully compatible for use with both batteries.

If you don't have a cordless impact wrench in your cordless arsenal yet, now is a great time to add one. Cordless drills are great, don't get me wrong. But to be completely honest, you have not really driven a 3 inch deck screw or driven a 5 inch lag bolt or anything else until you have done it with an impact driver. Tightening a bolt? You were going to grab the ratchet weren't you. No way, go for the cordless impact driver. The new drivers are small enough to get into fairly compact places and the new Lithium Ion batteries make them much lighter than previous generations. Whatever the case may be, the Ryobi P232 is the tool for you.
