Stubby wrenches are tools that are designed with shorter handles so they can be used in tight spaces where standard wrenches would prove difficult—or even impossible—to use. Plumbing repairs go more smoothly, too, when the long handles of standard tools aren’t getting in the way. And implements with shorter handles take up less room in the tool box or utility cabinet. Finally furniture building and repair becomes less frustrating when the tool fits the job…and the user’s hand.
